Wynnie performs as head chef for Cool School Food, a partnership between Ithaca City Child Nutrition Program, New York Coalition for Healthy School Food, and Moosewood Restaurant. In 2012, she developed a recipe featured in a healthy school cookbook, which the USDA distributed nationally to schools and families.
She has co-authored 12 award-winning Moosewood Restaurant Cookbooks.
