As a chef, partner and director, Wynnie has contributed to the creation of healthy menus and recipes. She has carved out a distinct role within the natural and specialty products industry as an creative and informed expert for food trends and product development.

Wynnie helps win the Sustainable Tompkins Award for Cool School Foods.

Wynnie performs as head chef for Cool School Food, a partnership between Ithaca City Child Nutrition Program, New York Coalition for Healthy School Food, and Moosewood Restaurant. In 2012, she developed a recipe featured in a healthy school cookbook, which the USDA distributed nationally to schools and families.

She has co-authored 12 award-winning Moosewood Restaurant Cookbooks.

Wynnie has made whole foods and healthy lifestyles accessible and attractive, and worked tirelessly with clients to turn ideas into recipes and products.

Wynnie, a featured Moosewood author, attends book tours and signings in order to market the Moosewood brand and subsidiary interests including cookbooks and prepared food.

She was featured on the Food Network, National Public Radio, and PBS Vegetarian Times. She was interviewed for the New York Times, Washington Post,  Boston Globe, Baltimore Sun, LA Times, Bon Appetit Magazine, American Airlines Magazine, and Christian Science Monitor, to name a few.
